- Notify your manager of your plans to return to work and be sure the Getty has all necessary return-to-work documents
Getting Married or Entering a Domestic Partnership
- If you wish to add your spouse/partner to your benefits, you must make that election within 31 days — log into Employee Self Service
- Does your Getty provided life insurance beneficiary need updating? If so, go to Employee Self Service
- Update your EIP and DCRP beneficiary with Vanguard
- If you’re changing your name, obtain new a Social Security Card
- Does your address need updating? If so, go to Employee Self Service
- Contact Human Resources to update your name
- Do you need to update your tax withholdings?
- Review your will and/or family trust
Getting Divorced or Ending a Domestic Partnership
- Update your address on Employee Self Service, if necessary
- Consider changing your benefits coverage (within 31 days) — log in to Employee Self Service
- Update your Getty provided life insurance beneficiary — log in to Employee Self Service
- Update your EIP and DCRP beneficiary with Vanguard
- If you’re changing your name, get a new Social Security Card

- Update your will or family trust
- Access counseling or assistance
Death in the Family
